About Google Sheets Integration

The Google Sheets integration with Dux-Soup allows you to automatically record LinkedIn profile data into a Google Sheet. Users can apply various filters and configure data settings for a more tailored experience.

To start recording LinkedIn profile data, generate the webhook, copy it by clicking the generated URL, and paste this URL in Dux-Soup Options, Connect tab:

Enable only the Visit event in the Options, Connect tab.

The Connect tab is displayed in the Expert user interface. How to enable the expert user interface.

Available filters:

  1. Include Extended Data Columns
  2. Include Only 1st-Degree Connections
  3. Filter by Dux-Soup Campaign (Add API details to the Connect tab to enable this option)

Data that can be recorded:

Standard Data:

User ID, Profile ID, VisitTime, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Profile, Company, Title, Location, Degree, Summary, From, CompanyProfile, CompanyWebsite, PersonalWebsite, Email, Phone, IM, Twitter, Industry, SalesProfile, RecruiterProfile, Connections, My Notes, Profile Picture.

Extended Data (if enabled in Options tab):

Positions, Skills, Schools.

How data is stored

  • Each LinkedIn profile visit creates a new row or updates an existing one based on the Profile ID.
  • Standard profile information is stored in fixed columns.
  • Extended data (Tags, Positions, Skills, Schools) dynamically expands based on received information.

Best practices:

✔️ Let the Add-on manage column positions automatically.

✔️ Avoid renaming or moving headers manually.

✔️ If you need a custom format, copy the data into another sheet instead of modifying headers.
