How to add profiles to a campaign using a LinkedIn People search URL

To enroll from the search URL, follow these steps outlined below.

Step 1: Create a LinkedIn Search

Go to LinkedIn and create a search based on your targeting criteria.

• Use LinkedIn search (free LinkedIn, Premium, Sales Navigator or Recruiter)
• Apply the filters you want (location, role, industry, etc.)
• Make sure the search results reflect the type of profiles you want to enrol

The search results determine which profiles will be added to your drip campaign.

Step 2: Copy the Search URL

Once your search results are displayed, copy the full search URL from your browser’s address bar. This URL contains all applied filters and defines the audience for your campaign

Step 3: Paste the Search URL into the Funnel

1. Open the Dux-Soup Dashboard
2. Go to Funnel Flow
3. Click Enroll from Search

4. Paste the LinkedIn search URL, select the campaign, and define the maximum number of profiles to enroll from this search.

Step 5: Click Start Enroll

How the Enroll from Search trigger works

When you start enrollment from a search URL, a signal is sent to Dux-Soup to begin processing the search.

• Cloud edition: A ready Cloud session will automatically pick up the request.
• Turbo edition: A connected Turbo browser extension will pick up the request.
  • If the extension is active in multiple browser instances, the request may be processed by all connected instances.

Processing behaviour

• Profiles are enrolled progressively from the search results.
• Enrollment stops automatically once the maximum number is reached.
• If profiles become unavailable or are skipped according to Skipping settings, Dux-Soup continues with the next available profiles.
• The Planner does not need to be active.
• If another action is already running, the enrollment will start after the current action finishes.
• Multiple enrollment requests are queued automatically and processed one by one.
• Once triggered, an enrollment request cannot be cancelled. The queue can only be cleared by restarting the Turbo extension or Cloud session.

Search URL requirements

• Any LinkedIn URL works as long as it is a recognised search results page.
• Saved searches only work with the same LinkedIn account that created them.
• If the URL is not recognised as a results page, the request will be ignored.
• If no active Turbo extension or Cloud session is available, the request will be discarded.
