User Profile API

Overview


The User Profile API allows you to read the profile attributes of a Dux-Soup or STACKED user. It's aimed at advanced users who manage the LinkedIn outreach of multiple accounts - for example, adding each account's name, email, and sign-up date to a team report, or matching user IDs to people in your CRM.

All User Profile API calls are made against your Remote Control endpoint:

Required fields

All Dux-Soup API requests must include a signed X-Dux-Signature header. The call on this page is a GET request, so no HTTP body is sent. For guidance on calculating the signature, please refer to Authenticating API calls.

Field Description
X-Dux-Signature  (header) HMAC signature calculated from your Authentication Key
targeturl The target URL of the command (should start with https://app.dux-soup.com )
userid The userid the command is sent to; should match the userid in the target URL
timestamp Current Unix time in milliseconds; must be within 5 minutes of the current time

Read Profile


Returns all profile attributes of the user.

HTTP method: GET

No additional parameters - only the required fields above.

Profile attributes

Field Description
userid Dux-Soup or STACKED user ID - the same ID used in the Remote Control endpoint URL
firstName User's first name
lastName User's last name
email Email address the account is registered with
created Date and time the Dux-Soup account was created (ISO 8601)

To report on several accounts, call this endpoint once per account, using each account's own {{USERID}}  and Authentication Key.
