New Salesforce fields created by Dux-Soup

When you install and configure the Dux-Soup Salesforce integration, several custom fields are automatically created to store LinkedIn profile information and Dux-Soup data.

The tables below describe each field, where it is created, and what it is used for.

Account Fields

Salesforce Field Label Type Description
LinkedIn_Profile__c   LinkedIn Profile Text (255) Stores the LinkedIn company profile URL or identifier associated with the Salesforce Account. Used as an External ID.

Contact Fields

Salesforce Field Label Type Description
LinkedIn_ID__c   LinkedIn ID Text (255) Stores the unique LinkedIn member identifier. Used as an External ID to help prevent duplicate records.
LinkedIn_Profile__c   LinkedIn Profile URL Stores the contact's LinkedIn profile URL.
LinkedIn_Title__c   LinkedIn Title Text (255) Stores the contact's current LinkedIn job title.
LinkedIn_Degree__c   LinkedIn Degree Text (255) Stores the LinkedIn connection degree (for example, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree connection).
LinkedIn_Location__c   LinkedIn Location Text (255) Stores the location displayed on the contact's LinkedIn profile.
LinkedIn_Industry__c   LinkedIn Industry Text (255) Stores the industry listed on the contact's LinkedIn profile.
LinkedIn_Summary__c   LinkedIn Summary Long Text Area Stores the summary or "About" section from the LinkedIn profile.
DS_Tags__c   Dux-Soup Tags Long Text Area Stores any Dux-Soup tags that have been applied to the prospect.
DS_Notes__c   Dux-Soup Notes Long Text Area Stores notes captured or synchronised from Dux-Soup.

User Fields

These fields are created on the Salesforce User object and are used to configure the Dux-Soup integration for each Salesforce user.

Salesforce Field Label Type Description
DS_User_ID__c   DS User ID Text (255) Stores the unique Dux-Soup User ID associated with the Salesforce user. Used as an External ID.
DS_API_Key__c   DS API Key Text (255) Stores the API key used to authenticate the Salesforce integration with Dux-Soup.

Notes

  • All fields are optional (Required = False  ).
  • Fields marked as External ID are used by Dux-Soup to identify and match records during synchronisation.
  • Long Text Area fields are designed to store larger amounts of text, such as profile summaries, notes, and tags.
  • These fields are automatically populated and maintained by the Dux-Soup Salesforce integration.
