What happens if I enrol the same prospect in multiple campaigns?
A LinkedIn prospect can be enrolled in more than one STACKED drip campaign.
However, what happens next depends on whether the prospect is already connected to you and whether actions from their previous campaign have already been queued.
Enrolling the same prospect in another campaign does not automatically remove all actions already queued by their previous campaign. Check Queued Activity before enrolling a prospect into another campaign if you want to avoid duplicate or overlapping actions.
What happens with 2nd and 3rd-degree prospects?
For a 2nd- or 3rd-degree prospect, the behaviour depends on whether the connection request from the first campaign has already been sent.
If the first connection request has not been sent
If you enrol the prospect into another campaign before the original connection request is sent, the previously queued connection request is removed and replaced by the connection request from the most recently enrolled campaign.
If the first connection request has already been sent
STACKED will not send another connection request from the second campaign.
When the prospect accepts your invitation, the follow-up sequence from the most recently enrolled campaign will be scheduled.
In other words, enrolling an unconnected prospect into another campaign can change which campaign controls their follow-ups once they connect.
What happens with 1st-degree connections?
If the prospect is already a 1st-degree LinkedIn connection, enrolling them into another campaign schedules the applicable follow-up actions from the new campaign.
Any follow-up actions from the previous campaign that are already in Queued Activity remain queued.
This means the prospect could have actions from more than one campaign waiting to run.
Before enrolling an existing connection into another campaign, check Queued Activity if you don’t want them to receive overlapping messages.
Can I enrol the same prospect in the same campaign again?
No. STACKED prevents the same prospect from being enrolled in the same campaign more than once. If the prospect is already enrolled, STACKED skips them rather than starting the same campaign again.
If you want more control over which prospects can be enrolled, STACKED also provides two campaign-level skipping options:
- Reject connected profiles – skips prospects who are already your 1st-degree LinkedIn connections.
- Reject profiles from other campaigns – skips prospects who are already enrolled in another drip campaign.
