Team seats, admin access, and subscription owners explained

STACKED powered by Dux-Soup multi-seat prepaid plans are designed to separate the people who use STACKED from those who manage the team or subscription.

STACKED local and STACKED cloud prepaid plans start from a minimum of one paid seat.

Understanding the difference between a Team member, Admin, and subscription owner will help you assign your seats correctly.

What is a STACKED seat?

A paid seat is required for each person who uses STACKED with a LinkedIn account.

For example, if three members of your sales team use STACKED with their respective LinkedIn accounts, you’ll need three seats.

A person who only manages the Team through the Admin dashboard does not need a paid seat.

What is a Team member?

A Team member is someone who has been assigned a paid STACKED seat.

Once invited, the team member receives instructions to install STACKED and activate their assigned licence key. After activation, their account appears in the Sessions panel of the Admin dashboard.

Team members can access and manage their own STACKED account and campaigns.

Unless the team admin contacts Support to request additional admin access for them, team members don’t have access to:

• Other Team members’ accounts or campaigns
• The admin dashboard
• Subscription or billing information

What is an Admin?

An Admin manages the team through the admin dashboard.

Admin access is free of charge and does not consume a paid seat. This means a manager can oversee a Team without using STACKED for their own LinkedIn account.

You can also request support at info@dux-soup.com to add additional admins if another person needs to help manage the team.

If an admin also wants to use STACKED with their own LinkedIn account, they will need to activate a paid seat just like any other Team member.

What is the subscription owner?

The subscription owner is the account that purchased and owns the subscription.

The subscription owner can manage the subscription and billing details as well as access the admin dashboard.

Being the subscription owner doesn’t mean you need to use a paid seat.

For example, you can purchase a one-seat plan, keep ownership of the subscription yourself, and assign the paid seat to an employee or Virtual Assistant who uses STACKED on your behalf.
