Installing Dux-Soup with Avast

If you're installing Dux-Soup on a computer that is running the Avast virus scanner you will notice that Dux-Soup will show the "Unable to access GoogleID" message or your Dux-Soup will fail running set activities. This is caused by Avast blocking access to the Dux-Soup servers, which stops the extension from running correctly.

To fix this please add the following exclusion to the Avast Webshield ( more info in this Avast Knowledge base article , section "exclusions" )

Add the following exclusion

• site : *.dux-soup.com
• protocol : https

Now when you restart the extension it should start up correctly.
