How to adapt Dux-Soup to Chrome's third-party cookie restrictions

Third-party cookies play a fundamental role in how Dux-Soup operates in your browser.

As of January 4th, 2024, Chrome has begun restricting third-party cookies by default to a certain number of users as part of its plan to phase out third-party cookies for all users in the second half of 2024. If you are chosen, you will receive a notification when you open Chrome.

If you are affected by Tracking Protection, copying and pasting the third-party cookie settings page (chrome://settings/cookies) into your browser will redirect you to chrome://settings/trackingProtection instead.

In most cases, when you initiate Dux-Soup from the drop-down menu, you will see the LinekdIn login page in a small window at the bottom-right corner of your browser instead of the usual profile page.

To resolve this issue, add [*.]linkedin.com and static.licdn.com to the list of exceptions via chrome://settings/trackingProtection .

Now, you should see the profile page in the small window at the bottom of your browser, indicating that Dux-Soup is visiting profiles.
